The Oregon Department of Education implements a statewide special education child count (SECC) and offers an application for districts/programs to use for submitting their data. The annual child count has three specific purposes: reporting to the U.S. Department of Education, fiscal, and statistical.
This application is used for the December SECC, June Exit, and Child Find collections. The SECC application, once downloaded to your PC, becomes a stand-alone application for year-around maintenance and validation of child count data.
